In the past four years Espace culturel Louis Vuitton in Paris has held exhibitions of dedicated to highlighting artists working outside of the expected art centers of Western Europe and North America.
Following this line of exhibitions featuring contemporary artist from Moscow, Korea and India, Espace has now aimed its focus on Chili.
For its 11th exhibition, "Chile, behind the scenes," the Espace culturel Louis Vuitton is continuing its artistic explorations; looking at how native Chilean artist portray their political and cultural heritage through photos, paintings and video installations.
The works by native Chilean artist attest that what is produced within Chile's borders are well worth being seen outside of them.
The exhibition, running February 19th to May 9th 2010.
