Keepers from Buried Alive Vintage- Part 1
I know it’s been way to long since I’ve contributed to this wonderful blog. (Sorry Jen… I’ve been working really hard at the day job, and working on getting my own site launched. Details to come…) But, I thought I’d put up some mens vintage finds that I’ve found that I can’t bring myself to sell in the Buried Alive Vintage boutique on Karmaloop.
This is an all red, patchless band varsity jacket. This piece is extremely on trend to what many designers are doing nowadays. I’m sure you guys are seeing varsity jackets from the H&M’s, Uniqlo’s all the way up to Givenchy, and Tom Ford. I really like this piece because it isn’t a typical waist length jacket. It doesn’t crop at the waist, it’s more of a blazer cut; stopping at the high thigh. I added a few pins on the collar to give it a little something extra.
