Karl Lagerfeld to Design for Macy’s
Karl Lagerfeld is coming to Macy’s. The mastermind behind Chanel’s coveted designs is set to bring his expertise to the mainstream with a capsule collection for the retailer, reports WWD.
Set to hit the racks next fall, Karl’s limited-edition line of women’s clothing comes as part of Macy’s new designer series, where the retailer will rotate different higher-end collections every two months.
“Karl Lagerfeld holds a unique place in the world of fashion, an icon who is the ultimate modernist,” Terry J. Lundgren, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Macy’s Inc. told WWD.

This is too good. I wish I lived in a ltioocan that actually had a NICE Macy's, like the ones you always hear about! Ours is very old and not updated much as, sadly, our market is not at all prime for collections like this. The leather looks are AMAZING! I think my favorite is the one with the leather leggings, vest, and white graphic shirt. SO cute! That's absolutely something I could see myself buying/wearing! Laurenbangbylo.tumblr.com
I cnaont even handle this. My inner fashionista is exploding right now – Karl Lagerfeld can do no wrong in my eyes — I am absolutely going to FLY to Macy's to stock up on these (especially the K Lagerfeld t-shirt). And Missoni for Target?! I die (and now I'm annoyed I spent all this money on Missoni bikinis and minidresses!).
