Celebrities Do Fashion- Affordable collections from A-list names

Nowadays, every celebrity that we praise as being fashion forward gets the bright idea to start a collection of their own. For some, it will be great, (think Kanye), and for others, it will just be. But what do you think? Is it smart?

The Kardashians recently released their Kardashian Kollection with price points that would seem to rock the boat at budget-friendly Sears. Also, Kohl’s has been on a celebrity spree with the likes of J.Lo, Marc Anthony, and LC (Lauren Conrad) from the Hills with collections. Even with sales on all of the collections mentioned, some of their clothing ranges from $50-75 dollars. The question is, is it worth it? Or are they just capitalizing on their celebrity to bring consumers lackluster garments at steep prices? Quality over quantity should be the name of the game! For those prices, you could have beautifully constructed trousers from Zara, or stylish wallet-friendly trends at H&M. So, are you buying?
