Although they are completely unwearable, these chain shoes designed by Tove Jansson and Per Emanuelsson make for a great discussion piece.

The female version of the shoe looks like any other black high-heeled pump with chains hanging down the sole as heels. The male version of the Chain Shoes are loafers wrapped in rusted, brown chains.

The Tove Jansson (of Moomin fame) or a different Tove Jansson? Either way those shoes are an interesting concept. Thanks for posting.
