Music Monday: Beverly Knight – When You Gonna Learn ( Jamiroquai Cover)
I’ve been a Jamiroquai fan for 20 years now and I’m still amazed at the longevity of the band after all of this time. Their first album came out in 1992 called “Emergency on Planet Earth” and “When You Gonna Learn” was their first video. The video was banned by MTV in the United States but Jason Kay defended the message of the video citing the media to call him on his hypocritical behavior due to his love for Italian sports cars. Two decades later Beverly Knight, a former background singer for the band covered “When You Gonna Learn” and the message is still as strong today as it was 20 years ago.
