Burberry Prorsum Mens Spring 2012
Escaping the standard of the modern times, Burberry Prorsum creative chief officer Christopher Bailey finds his groove in a nostalgic spring collection. From vintage cut tops and oversize parkas to the little details, Bailey crafts a memorable lineup. With an increased penchant for every aspect of production, hand crafted natural wood toggles, sprayed leather seams, and other fine accents contribute to an endearing collection that adds a little spontaneity to what is shaping up to be a rather dark season.
The Vibe for Spring 2012:
East Village 1977 meets East Berlin 1962. What does that mean? It means a mashup of influences from beanies to batik prints to Modish parkas and wedgy creepers. The suits are cut cropped and tight, layered with stripes and batik prints, chunky cardigans with collared shirts, all looks topped with a pom pom beanie and a pair of creepers. Perfect for a gig at The Rathskeller. mod cut trenches . Check out the entire show here.
